5. WHEN YOU MOVE IN

MEET AND GREET

When you arrive, you will be welcomed by a member of the BOHO team.  They will be able to familiarise you with facilities in your new home and educate you on the emergency procedures.  The team will also be able to run you through the setup of our concierge app, which will connect you to offers and services available to you as a Scotway House resident.

TENANCY AGREEMENT

At the point of booking you will have electronically signed a tenancy agreement setting out the terms of your tenancy. A copy of this agreement is available for you to download on your resident portal. It is extremely important that you read the agreement carefully as its clauses are legally binding and enforceable.

INVENTORY

Once you get settled and before you start to unpack, please complete the room inventory on your Resident Portal, this is just to let us know how you found the room and its condition before you take up residence.

RENTAL PAYMENTS

If you haven’t already paid your rent up front, your rent is payable on the 1st of the month and your tenancy agreement will detail the frequency.  It is extremely important that you make timely rental payments in accordance with your tenancy agreement, as failure to make payment will lead to your landlord taking legal action to end the tenancy.

HOW TO PAY

Paying your rent is simple and can be done online 24 hours a day. You can pay your rent by logging into your BOHO Resident Portal and selecting the ‘My Account’ tab. Here, you can review your financial statement and make rent payments. You can pay with a Debit or Credit card or you may wish to pay by bank transfer.  If paying by bank transfer, please ensure you add your Tenancy number as a reference.
